Family History

Well, here it is, Our Kitchen Family History. Here is a list of all the names of other families
that are connected to ours.

Some of you reading this, know that when you start tracing family history, you are not in
control of what you find, good or bad facts about your family. It's just there. There may be
times when you find something, that you feel, "I'll never tell anyone about this." I wonder if this
is the right approach, because then, no one will know if the story is true or not, if they know the
story at all. For example…. (click here to continue reading……)

The earliest I have been able to track back, as far as the Kitchen and Kitchens name, is to
Henry Kitchens, born 1851-52 in Tennessee and died in 1908 somewhere in Oklahoma.
Henry was married to Sarah Wycoff in Taylorsville, Christian County, Illinois on Oct. 31, 1878.

* Update; The parents of Henry Kitchens are:
Chapman Kitchens and his wife, Jane _______.

Our Aunt Sherry Potter (Kitchen) found this information from a
1860 census in Overton County, Tennessee.

Including all relatives, the earliest name we have come across is William Mabe,
born about 1690.

Listed below is an outline of our Kitchen family and all the other families that we have joined with throughout time.
Click on a name to reveal more details, if that name is highlighted/underlined. Looking below, hopefully it is obvious that
the parents of Donnie, Shawn and Todd are Melvin S. Kitchen and Connie K. Behar. The parents will be listed closest to
their children and so on. Also, we will not list any information we feel as personal, to those family members that are still living.
We have looked at a lot of different pedigree family outlines and family tree charts, but we have found none of them that
include our siblings, our brothers and sisters, nor their families. We hope this outline is clear but feel free to contact us if you have any questions. When you click on each name, we will be able to list more of their information, like spouse, and/or children, etc. and you can click here for a central page for histories of different families, connected to ours.
